About me
Who am I
Iām a Product Designer who enjoys creating products that have clear user and business goals in mind, require clean user journeys and allow time to validate concepts with user testing.
My friends and colleagues describe me as an individual who communicates well in both written and verbal format, maintains a proactive and energetic personality, aims to deliver the best design work possible, and is continuously improving himself to become a better designer and leader.
Where have I worked
I have recently started a new role at Estimate One in Melbourne, Australia to expand my experience beyond my home in New Zealand. Prior to Estimate One, I have worked at Xero designing business management features for accountants and improving the Xero 3rd party app store for small businesses. I have also worked for a range of other international tech companies in New Zealand including Timely, Pushpay and Movio.
I also write the occasional blog article on Medium and for other online communities to offer guidance to upcoming designers to help further their career paths and become a more positive influence for the industry.
What I enjoy outside of design
I play the bass guitar on my youtube channel Alive since May, build up my physical and mental health at the gym, practice my mandarin speaking skills, read about individual growth, UX, and personal finance, attend concerts and research how different bands live on tour.
